Donald Trump and Possible VP Pick Indiana Gov. Pence Meet at Golf Club


With the contest for naming vice presidential candidates heating up, "http://abcnews.go.com/topics/news/donald-trump.htm" met over the weekend with Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, two sources tell ABC.
The presumptive GOP nominee and Pence met with their spouses on Saturday at the Trump National Golf Club in New Jersey, according to two GOP sources.
Pence's associates have been told he's under consideration for the number two spot on the Republican ticket, a GOP source tells ABC.

Seems very Conservative although I know nothing about him.

Alexander Acosta Labor Secretary resigned under pressure concerning his "sweetheart deal" with Jeffrey Epstein.  He was under consideration for AG after Sessions was removed, but was forced to resign instead.

Yes, I see.  Pence endorsed Cruz originally.  His positions are very Conservative.  I would say even impressive.  If we could only have a governor like him.  But still will the VP make Trump electable?  I wouldn't say it would do it for me.  Ultimately Trump would be President and I think Pence would have little influence on Trump.  He certainly could not go around doing clean up.

I could see Christie or Gingrich.  I don't see anything in those two.  Why would a Conservative want to risk their career?
