Thursday, June 30, 2016

The tables have turned in this week’s White House Watch. After trailing Hillary Clinton by five points for the prior two weeks, Donald Trump has now taken a four-point lead.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey of Likely U.S. Voters finds Trump with 43% of the vote, while Clinton earns 39%. Twelve percent (12%) still like another candidate, and five percent (5%) are undecided.

Nice cherry-picking of a single poll. Let's look at RCP averages, shall we...?

RCP Average   6/16 - 6/29   --   --   44.7   39.8   Clinton +4.9
FOX News   6/26 - 6/28   1017 RV   3.0   44   38   Clinton +6
Rasmussen Reports   6/28 - 6/29   1000 LV   3.0   39   43   Trump +4
PPP (D)   6/27 - 6/28   947 RV   3.2   48   44   Clinton +4
Reuters/Ipsos   6/25 - 6/29   1247 RV   2.8   42   32   Clinton +10
Quinnipiac   6/21 - 6/27   1610 RV   2.4   42   40   Clinton +2
ABC News/Wash Post   6/20 - 6/23   836 RV   4.0   51   39   Clinton +12
NBC News/Wall St. Jrnl   6/19 - 6/23   1000 RV   3.1   46   41   Clinton +5
Economist/YouGov   6/18 - 6/20   1011 RV   4.1   43   39   Clinton +4
CNN/ORC   6/16 - 6/19   891 RV   3.5   47   42   Clinton +5

ONE poll has Trump over Clinton. Every other poll has Clinton winning.

So, great job picking a loser candidate. If you think we're ever going to get behind this loser, you've got another thing coming.

Can't delete his own post?   I went back and deleted post when I said something I regretted shortly after.  I think most of us have. The strength of a man's character is best demonstrated by his humility and willingness to admit error.

Drudge is doing the entire conservative movement a GRAVE disservice by headlining this outlier poll. Not to mention the constant stream of "Trump is great" articles cherry-picked from all the negative press. He's leading people to believe that Trump is viable, and he's not.

GOP voters will find out the truth too late thanks to the constant chest-beating of Drudge and the Trumpettes.

He can. In 22 hours when his suspension is up and the entire incident is considered as finished.

According to Rasmussen, Mitt Romney was supposed to win Florida, Virginia, Iowa, Colorado, and the national popular vote.  Wisconsin and Ohio were tied.  Anybody remember that?  They failed in spectacular fashion.
