(CNSNews.com) - "How would you describe your abortion position?" NBC's Chuck Todd asked Sen. Tim Kaine (D-Va.) on Sunday's "Meet the Press."

"I would say people use labels all the time," Kaine responded. "But I'm kind of a, look, traditional Catholic. I don't like -- personally, I'm opposed to abortion, and personally, I'm opposed to the death penalty...

"I deeply believe -- and not just as a matter of politics, but even as a matter of morality, that matters about reproduction and intimacy and relationships and contraception are in the personal realm. They're moral decisions for individuals to make for themselves. And the last thing we need is government intruding into those personal decisions.

Personally, I'm against corruption in government but I think the right thing is for individuals in government to do is make that decision themselves.



Personally, I'm against pedophilia but think the right thing for government is to allow individuals to make the decision as to whether they will molest children.
