Veteran beaten with flag pole at VA demanding more security
By Andy Wolf|June 23rd, 2016|Military News, U.S. Army|0 Comments

A Veteran volunteer at an Arizona VA Hospital was attacked by a fellow veteran, leaving the volunteer seriously injured and prompting him to demand better security measures.

Vietnam-era Army veteran Richard Fournier of the Prescott area says that a homeless veteran repeatedly smashed his knee with a flagpole on the 14th of March, according to CBS5AZ.

Beaten so badly that he said he was fading in and out of consciousness, Fournier says he was worried that others would be attacked by the homeless veteran, who became agitated and used a wooden flagpole against him.
