Windy City Progress: Woman Stabbed, Not Shot, To Death On Chicago Train

June 24, 2016| by Brian Anderson

With some of the toughest anti-gun laws and the insane level of shootings and violence, Chicago is a great example at how ineffective gun control is. However, Mayor Rahm Emanuel and his liberal gun-hating cronies can now claim a minor victory. Rather than being shot to death, a woman was stabbed to death on a Chicago train today. It takes baby steps, people.

ABC 7 reports that a woman was fatally stabbed on the CTA Red Line train in Chicago’s South Side. The stabbing is bad enough, but it comes with some added terribleness and a bit of a mystery.

Around 12:30pm, passengers noticed a man talking to a woman seated across from him. Witnesses say he asked the woman if she had any children and she responded “no.” With that, the man got up and attacked the woman with a knife.

So the police say no one else was in danger.  Was that before, during, or after the assailant held people at bay with the bloody knife?
