US: Two-Thirds of Fallujah Taken from ISIS

The Pentagon says approximately one-third of Fallujah has already been cleared and remains under the control of the Iraqi Security Forces; the rest of the city remains contested.
Pentagon Spokesman Matthew Allen gave Scout Warrior the following statement:
"Operations in Fallujah continue. Over two-thirds of the city has already been cleared and remains under the control of the GOI. The rest of the city remains contested.
Since the ground operation to assault the city began, Coalition forces have conducted approximately 90 strikes in support of local ground forces under the command of the Government f Iraq. These strikes have destroyed key ISIL targets including tactical units, fighting positions, heavy and light machine guns, rocket propelled grenade systems and denied ISIL access to terrain.
