Okay, just imagine if this would have been a white male student walking out of his graduation, and the cries of "disrespect" to any females and minorities in attendance.  It would have become an entire meme of white males only caring about themselves, and leaving everyone else behind.

This was just complete rudeness all around.  The article notes in passing that it could be a problem for the kids at the end of the alphabet, then just kind of ignores the point it just made.

I don't think it was "her class."  Sounds like she was a drop-out who went back in to finish up, get a real Diploma and not a GED.  Her class probably walked a year before.  I knew a guy in High School who did that.  He got a lot of respect from us younger fellows, that took a lot of guts to face the music for a whole year.

She was in an on-line program... never set foot in no classroom.  I don't give two hoots to a hollar if she went on stage nekked and danced the fandango under a full moon.... she is still a beauty school drop-out with a GED.  She never should have been allowed to be on stage.
