I'm poll watching today, jut nipped home for lunch.
No idea how the vote is going nationally, but our station had a queue of about 40 people waiting to vote when polls opened at 7. We're a "trades" area, so most of them were builders on their way to work. Processed them quickly, they don't like to be kept waiting, then for the next 2 hours it was a steady 5 to 10 people a minute.About 11 we caught a bit of a gap, and since the council rep had rolled up to check, we got our votes in while there was him there to certify it was legit.
Expecting it to pick up again about 15:00 - it's a miserable day so any of the outside workers locally will be knocking off early and swinging by to vote before hitting the pub, and the school run is always a busy time too.
