Lately I feel a greater affinity for Putin than I do for Western Europe. Who is more dangerous to the US? Russia? Or the huge masses of third worlders we're importing on a daily basis?

Yes. He is calling for a general election before October.  Watching live on Sky via URL link on Drudge. Sky is making it very easy to understand the whole entire thing that is going on. I'm really impressed by their reporting this morning.

I can't feel anything for him once a communist always a communist 

He will find a way to use this to his advantage in order to further his reclaiming of what used to be the USSR.

Putins a Nationalist, yes,  but has no designs to make Russia the USSR.....  he is more a businessman than anything else......keep the deals rolling and the revenues flowing and he is a happy man...acknowledge how well he's doing and his country on the World Stage and he'll think he died and went to heaven.

USSR lingo is cold war speak and he is a far cry from being in that frame of mind...... however you play military on his borders or in his spheres of influence and he'll be quick to respond.

Sad thing is...when there was a USSR these invading hoardes wouldn't have happened. Russia kept their satellite countries in check and we did the same with our ME allies 

I wouldn't be surprised to see Put in make a move now.   There are a lot of distractions in Europe as well as the United States that he can take advantage of

Not to defend him but the ONLY reason he is ABLE to do the voodoo that he doo comes right back to the same thing I bitch about here. No huge surprise, though his opponents within the party have asked him to stay on.

Pity really. Cameron ain't terrible, for a toff and a politician. He has a rare glimpse of spine. Plus it means the next leader of the Conservative party/Prime Minister is probably going to be BoJo. Think Trump without the charm. Glad Osbourne is pissing off though - he's been a terrible Chancellor.

If BoJo is less charming than TRump he must be a REAL piece of work! Trump is about as charming as a pet rock if you ask me!

The US does just fine without any economic union. Getting rid of NAFTA wouldn't hurt either. The UK will not collapse. The fear mongering is complete nonsense.
