Donald Trump is so broke that he is holding a telethon and personally promising to match donations to his presidential campaign over the next 48 hours.

According to FEC filings, Trump raised $3.2 million in May and had just under $1.3 million in cash. In contrast, Hillary Clinton raised $26 million in May and had $42 million in cash on hand.

Trump told NBC’s Today, “I understand money far better than anybody. I understand money better than Hillary….We’ve raised a lot of money, but we’ve also got to have some help from the party.” Trump also said that if he has to, he will self-fund his campaign.

Jim Acosta of CNN reported that Trump has gone all telethon and is offering to personally match donations for the next 48 hours:

First Trump fundraising email: Trump says he's "personally matching every dollar that comes in WITHIN THE NEXT 48 HOURS, up to $2 million!"

Why cap it at $2 million?

  • Words full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.
I'm still waiting to see what Vermin Supreme raised, just out of joke donations. It would be hilarious (yet very sad) if it is a measurable percentage of what Trump did.

"My properties are expensive to rent for this campaign, people, pony up! I also like to eat from the fabulous Trump Grill, and the campaign needs to pay for that and you should be willing to feed me too."

Why would he bother matching when it all goes back to him anyways... lol

I gotta tell ya, I am actually feeling a bit of Sympathy for Trump and his Supporters, but more for his supporters.

The vast majority of my sympathy is for We the People, especially the ones who did our best to avoid a disaster of an election year that this has turned out to be.

Maybe, just maybe, it isn't over yet, but I am not feeling real confident right now.

What the hell is this? "The March of Dumbs"?

And where's Jerry Lewis when you need him?
"The most terrifying force of death, comes from the hands of Men who wanted to be left Alone. They try, so very hard, to mind their own business and provide for themselves and those they love. They resist every impulse to fight back, knowing the forced and permanent change of life that will come from it. They know, that the moment they fight back, their lives as they have lived them, are over. -Alexander Solzhenitsyn

Now there is this headline:

Hillary Clinton to Deliver Economic Policy Speech Aimed at Donald Trump

Of course she is, with the news that came out today, and spreading like wildfire?

Damn, just Damn.

I honestly thought this was satire.

You sure can't tell these days, can you.  It has become so surreal.

Whoo HOO
We can do this!

If we just had more monthy donors we woudn't have to do this ya penny pinching cheapskates.

Just 10 day before it starts.

Since its not on his twitter and not in any press release it likely is another RNC fundraiser like the 100K one using Trump's name as he agreed too. He also may have agreed to match funds, But nothing on any of his official announcements.

the original source was this:

First Trump fundraising email: Trump says he's "personally matching every dollar that comes in WITHIN THE NEXT 48 HOURS, up to $2 million!"

    — Jim Acosta (@Acosta) June 21, 2016

Jim Acosta of CNN reported that Trump is offering to personally match donations for the next 48 hours.

This is RNC fundraising RATS (Republicans Against Trump), something you should be for - not attacking if you actually are Republicans.
Trump is for America First.
"Crooked Hillary Clinton is the Secretary of the Status Quo – and wherever Hillary Clinton goes, corruption and scandal follow." D. Trump 7/11/16

Did you know that the word ‘gullible’ is not in the dictionary?

RCP says it was sent out by the campaign.  Why don't you open your email and find out who sent it?

He certainly doesn't seem to have much liquid cash at his disposal, does he?
