Clinton burying Trump: $42 million to $1.3 million
« on: June 21, 2016, 07:27:29 am »
http://www.cnn.com/2016/06/20/politics/republicans-cash-crunch-donald-trump/index.html

Quote
Clinton's campaign had $42 million in the bank as of May 31, according to its report filed with the Federal Election Commission Monday. Her super PAC Priorities USA has $52 million.

Trump's campaign has $1.3 million.

The gulf emerges as Democrats lay out plans to spend that cash on an onslaught of television advertising that Trump has shown no urgency in matching. Clinton and her allied groups are planning to spend $117 million between Tuesday and Election Day on television -- much of it anti-Trump television -- while Trump and his groups have $700,000 in time awaiting him thus far.

Quote
There is good reason to think the May gap will close substantially: The two remaining pro-Trump groups are expected to announce big hauls next month, and Trump in June launched an aggressive fundraising swing with 10 events in nine days that raised more than $8 million, according to one source. And his joint fundraising agreement with the RNC -- which allows for checks at $450,000 at a time -- was only born in the final days of May.

No money means no grass roots support.   Whoever the "real" Trump supporters are out there may be, they're certainly not willing to write a check for their candidate.  Trump supporters are a phantom.  No grass roots support = no voters in November.

Trump supporters can cite all the polls and statistics and Hillary "negatives" and unfair media, and blame Cruz for not endorsing, blame the GOP-e, but the Trump campaign's lack of funds proves two things:

  • He's got nothing like the level of voter support that he and his supporters claim.
  • Trump has no where near the "$Billions" he clamis.  His "wealth" is in over leveraged paper assets that do not translate to cash either in terms of asset sales or or loans against assets.

If Trump had the cash available personally, he'd at least have loaned his campaign a couple of hundred $Million (we're not even taking "$Billion") to get his ad buys started on time.   When (not "if") Hillary buys up all the prime time advertisement space, it won't matter how much Trump raises or writes personal checks for.

Trump just isn't the candidate his supporters claim he is, nor wish he were.  Math doesn't lie.

Trump loses 50 states in November, and like pulls down the Senate, House, and down state races as well (i.e. check out the RNC fundraising coffers).  The GOP is as broke as THE DONALD.

The despised Cruz and his equally despised "Cruzer's" had nothing to do with any of this.  It's all on the 35% of GOP voters (+ crossover Dem's voting in the GOP open primaries) who brought Trump to the GOP party.

Party on, folks, party on.  November will be so sweet, for the progressive left.

The Trump campaign is a one-man traveling circus. Sure he has some staff, enough to man a fast food place maybe, but mainly it's just a Trump clubhouse.

It's nothing like a real campaign.

Yeah the money spent is what drives the election... Oh wait, did you guys not learn anything from just having your asses handed to you over this exact same argument during the Primary? Attack ads and bogus polls do not work this election.

Simple fact ya'll need to internalize. Right now the RATS are spending those millions in mostly battleground states. Yet in those states with all that negative press Trump is either ahead or tied with Hillary in the push polls.

Oh and RAT means both DemocRATS and Republicans Against Trump "RATS."
Trump is for America First.

Hitlery locked the nomination up after Trump.  She was still fighting for primaries while Trump had weeks to do fundraising, but didn't.  It is true that Trump enjoyed unprecedented media coverage by saying racist and inflammatory stuff which supporters like you excused or celebrated, but Trump can't pursue the trailer park vote during the general election and win.
Supporters expected Trump to pivot after locking the nomination.  They expected him to get serious about winning.  Instead Trump has gotten serious about grifting.

If Trump was going to tank the GOP would he have done anything different?  I don't know why I asked "if?"

 You absolutely nailed it!  No money means no grass roots support ... and he doesn't have the billions he has proclaimed to have.

He has a 70% unfavorablity rating and has a lot of crossover support from the DEMS who vote for him in the primary to ensure that he loses the general. Most importantly, this can't be blamed on Cruz or his supporters; in fact Cruz and supporters have been trying to warn the public all along; Donny is nothing more than a LIAR and a FRAUD.

As Cruz pointed out; "Those who bolstered Trump bear that responsibility going forward".  The Trump supporters should be very proud of themselves right about now.  Hopefully Trump can be stopped at the convention; otherwise we're looking at President Hillary.

The orange lunatic is going to lose by epic proportions.

Ok...I wasn't going to stoop to your level; but what the heck.  You came into this forum and have done nothing but attack and taunt those that have been here awhile.

The bleep just don't get it.  Trump is losing.  He's out of money.  He's a FRAUD.  When Hillary is sworn in, it is the bleep that bear that responsibility.
