(TRUNEWS) Dr. Bill Warner, the founder and director of the Center for the Study of Political Islam (CSPI), has compiled one hundred verses from the Qur’an — referred to as “Sword Verses” — and provided context according to the Tafsir Ibn Kathir, an accepted scholars guide for the Qur’an.
People throughout the world are saying the actions of Omar Mateen do not represent Islam or the teachings of the Prophet Mohammed detailed in the Qur’an. These 100 verses below should set to rest any assertions that Islam and its religious teachings promote a culture of peace. These verses ARE what people of Islamic faith teach, follow, and believe.
*note: Muslims use the the word God in the Qur’an and the Tafsir Ibn Kathir to describe their false god, Allah. Therefore the quotes below do not describe the one and only true God, the God we worship as Christians. The God which sent his only begotten son to die on The Cross at Calvary for the salvation of sinners. The God which created us and this world.
