Rep. Black: ‘Delusional’ to Think Gun Control Will Stop ‘Radical Islamist Intent on Taking Innocent Life'
(CNSNews.com) – “Anyone who thinks that another gun control law will thwart the will of a radical Islamist who is intent on taking innocent life is delusional,” said Rep. Diane Black (R-Tenn.) in a statement [1]on Thursday. She made her remarks in response to the news that the Senate will hold votes on gun control measures following a 15-hour filibuster [2] from Senate Democrats protesting inaction on the measures.
“As a firearm owner myself, I believe that instead of eroding the 2nd Amendment, we must expand these rights so that Americans are empowered to protect themselves from those who would do us harm,” Rep. Black said.
