The owner of a Florida gun store said he tried to alert the FBI to a "very suspicious" man later identified as Orlando nightclub shooter Omar Mateen after Mateen tried to buy body armor and bulk ammunition from the store.

Robert Abell, a co-owner of Lotus Gunworks in Jensen Beach, Florida, told ABC News today that a man entered the store five or six weeks ago and asked specific questions about high-end body armor. When employees said the store didn't carry the body armor he wanted, Abell said, the man made a phone call in a foreign language, hung up and then asked about ammunition in bulk.

  • Your what hurts??
Yep.  And the now retired former Assistant Director of the FBI says the White House has issued instructions to Federal law enforcement to "go easy" on Muslim investigations.

All this adds up to: we are not safe, and our Government is not only not protecting us, but is directly involved with increasing the threat against US citizens.

This is exactly why the founders gave us the Second Amendment right to not only bear arms but form a Militia when it is needed.

Very important, if true.  Shows careful planning, and an accomplice other than his wife.  So much for the "lone wolf" theory.  They can no doubt trace that call through the cell phone provider (and through Mateen's own phone) and investigate the guy on the other end.
