Hillary Hits Trump Over Not Releasing Deposition – While Her Own Aides Conceal Theirs

Hillary Clinton's campaign took a shot at her expected GOP challenger for the White House over his fight to keep his deposition in the Trump University lawsuit from being made public.
The hit came as Trump made a deposition in another case in Washington, D.C., in which he is suing Washington celebrity chef Jose Andres over the chef's pulling out of opening a restaurant in Trump's Old Post Office Pavilion Building project.
"Don't expect Trump to allow today's deposition to become public any time soon," the campaign in a memo to reporters, The Washington Post reports. "He's currently fighting to keep private videos of his depositions in lawsuits against the scam that is Trump University. Apparently, even a man who stood at the bottom of an escalator shouting divisive attacks against immigrant communities has some words he'd rather keep private."
But, the Post's David Weigel points out, the accusation comes just two days after a judge denied a request to prevent the taping of a deposition by Bryan Pagliano, who is believed to have set up Clinton's private email server when she was secretary of state.
The conservative Judicial Watch has already released the transcript of Clinton aide Cheryl Mills after her attorneys unsuccessfully fought to keep it under wraps.
"Thursday's attempted point-scoring largely served to demonstrate how some of the most damaging Clinton and Trump story lines cancel each other out, no matter their attempts to capitalize on them," Weigel wrote, noting Clinton's earlier attempt at a Twitter stinger when she told Trump, "Delete your account," only to be followed by Trump and RNC Chairman Reince Priebus mocking her for her own deletion of her emails from her private server.
