Cruz is an obsessed politician, a man in too much of a hurry, a man with limited experience and acumen,  and this is Trump's fault?  Nah that doesn't pass the smell test.

And, I'm not angry.  I understand Ted Cruz, so nothing he does--or doesn't do--surprises me.

Angry. Yep.

Only if you believe such silliness.  I don't.

Yep. That was a silly comment.  :patriot:

Because he's got to help Clinton win in 2016 ... one way or the other ... to make his 2020 dreams come true.  (Or at least try again)
Says who? Ted Kennedy ran against Carter in 1980, and Cruz is far more prepared than Kennedy was.

And, apparently, plotting.

It's a nefarious plot!

Others have noted the connection between supporting Trump and being a believer in conspiracy theories.  I can't say I understand it, but there's no doubt it exists.

Sure, Cruz can.  But taking on an incumbent is a longer shot than shooting for an open nomination.

It's just the way it is.

I didn't say that.  But, hey, maybe you know more than I do.   ^-^

I don't even know if you have a daughter, but you seem to still be carrying a huge hatred for Cruz that I don't understand, other than the fact that he challenged Trump and the Prevailing Dogma in your caucus is to heap scorn on those who challenge Trump. If it were personal like that, then maybe I'd get it, but the way it is, it just doesn't make sense to me.

The words of his father, never disavowed by the Senator.

You might want to google it. Ask yourself how many people might find that to be a lot over the line.

I expect Cruz understands that reasonable people don't need him to "disavow" every word that's ever passed his parents' lips.

If that's going to be the standard going forward, though, Trump needs to step up and do the same concerning his father's arrest at a KKK rally in 1927.  Agreed?

Not as many as you think. What father doesn't want the best for his child?

Without question, Catherine knows more than you do.

So Cruz IS undertaking a "nefarious plot".

Wow ... I guess that's good to know.   :pondering:

What, a politician? I hate to break it to you, but every President in U.S. history except perhaps Washington was a politician.

You really don't want to bring that up to Trump.  He gets pissed and goes into heavy denial mode when you bring up his father and the KKK:

Oh, come on, now.  I know you know the definition of "nefarious."  You don't consider a "plot" to make Trump lose nefarious?

Hey, you're right.  I could be a member of that plot.  In fact, I could be Ted Cruz typing to you right now.

This article was interesting. I am glad to see that there are still some who want to keep the conservative movement alive.  I wonder if it will be as part of the GOP in 2020?

Trumpets on TOS were predicting Cruz's political destruction.

Well, that was an interesting read.  He denied it ever happened, gave facts about it, and then said he never heard of it.

I am 54 years old.. my first vote was for Reagan... this is the first time in my life... I do not know how to vote.

Find the most conservative candidate that you can agree with from among the minor parties, and vote for that person.
Let it burn.
