A bomb exploded outside the headquarters of the Lebanese Blom Bank in central Beirut on June 12. Although no group claimed responsibility, suspicion has fallen on the Iranian backed Shiite terrorist organization Hezbollah.A 2015 American law imposed sanctions on Lebanese banks which provide financial services to Hezbollah. Blom Bank is one of those which agreed to comply.
