43 Ethiopian Soldiers Reported Killed by Al-ShabaabA dawn attack on an army base in Somalia killed dozens of Ethiopian soldiers seeking to restore order in the war torn country. Dozens of Ethiopian soldiers were killed by the Somali militant group Al-Shabaab in an attack on an army base in Somalia on Thursday morning.The attack struck the Halgan army base some 300km from the capital Mogadishu."Our fighters stormed the Halgan base of AMISOM" Al-Shabaab spokesman Sheikh Abdiasis Abu Musab told Reuters. "We killed 43 AU soldiers from Ethiopia in the fighting. It was a huge blast.
