There are now allegations that professional protesters were used in the Donald Trump rally in San Jose where violent fights broke out. (KGO-TV)

There are now allegations that professional protesters were used in those fights. While professional protesters aren't anything new on the national stage, locally it's a different story. And Trump supporters aren't amused.

Earlier Tuesday, the district attorney's office filed charges against one of them, who is accused of throwing a metal barricade at a police officer.

One high profile Trump supporter claims so-called "professional protesters" may have also had something to do with the violence.

Former political advisor Roger Stone believes that some people are getting paid to cause a ruckus at political rallies.

In a Skype interview he said, "In fact, one of those in San Jose was a protester seen only days ago outside Trump Tower in New York. That's a highly mobile protester."

The San Jose Police Department is following up on leads and says more arrests are possible.

Last year during all of the Black Lives Matter protests there were numerous reports online about how the same Oakland, California cell phone numbers kept popping up at the location of all the major riots; Ferguson, Baltimore and elsewhere.  At the time the insinuation was that the Black Panthers and other black "activists" from the Bay area were actively participating and helping agitate the extended riots all over the country.

No reason to think the Latino groups in the Southwest US in particular would not employ the same tactics.  Good way to spread some cash among the homies, and they never mind raising hell, especially if they can beat the crap out of some gringos to boot.

Worse to come my friends.  Open carry is the law out here in Washington and I have taken to keeping a little friend handy at all times.

Yes, but...Craigslist is notorious for sponsoring ads for all kinds of leftie causes.  Out here in Portlandia they were advertising for help to keep Occupy Portlandia going.  Maybe they got blamed this time, but past performance is an accurate indicator of coming behavior.
