What If Republicans Change Their Minds
« on: June 08, 2016, 04:42:17 am »
It's interesting at times to hear the other side ... I seldom hold any stock in what Carville says ... but this is becoming the consensus on BOTH sides of the fence.  Because of Trump, the GOP is in trouble and possibly with those continuing to refuse to support Trump in his own party and now an un-endorsement for him, could there somehow be a possibility that Trump won't be the nominee?  Video:

Romans 12:16-21

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all…do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

They see the writing BEHIND the wall. AKA internal polling. If they want to survive politically, it's Trump or their Jobs. And you can guess which.

The most lib GOP starts off the trial balloon and the rest go full Kabuki to forward the stage show. And thats exactly whats happening. Kirk and Lindsay on point, the rest to follow. A couple will make noises and a couple more will jump ship.

Same way they ultimately cave in and give Obama what he wants. Textbook.

As pointed out in the video Trump has no campaign.  The convention is just over a month away and with his personality he will continue to self-destruct. My hunch is Trump doesn't have clue one as to what goes on at the convention and has only prepared to put on a 'show' glorify himself.

They won't change their minds.  They will go down with Trump and hope they don't lose the House and Senate with him.

Trump wins and he wins big. By now Adults would have learned that.
Trump is for America First.

Did you know that the word ‘gullible’ is not in the dictionary?

No.  There's a shift going on out there.  Trump's "statement" yesterday did nothing to quell the anger.

Right now, all the elected officials and the RNC have maximum leverage over Trump.  They should force him to do something he's never done:  apologize to the judge and to the American people for his racist remarks.

If he doesn't, let him know that they are dropping their endorsements and will find a way to deny him the nomination.  And they can do it, if they have the will.

Yes they can.   If principle isn't enough for them to find the will,  if simple common decency isn't enough,  then self-preservation ought to do the trick.  The Trump train is leading the GOP down the track to crushing defeat.
