How many will fall because of Trump?
It is a tricky question they must face. Such purely driven souls, they all are.
They know how to work with the status quo. Know which lobbyists will fund their campaigns, to be re-elected.
They know most districts are safe, due to gerrymandering. Being reelected is the first priority for most elected officials.
So they wonder? Will Trump's election upset my own well being?
Because we know, most of them come to Congress as upper middle-class, and leave as multimillionaires.
*and you delude yourselves, thinking that for them it is a matter of "principles." Naïve you are.
But you reply, maybe for others, but not so with my representative, for he/she is one of the most principled.
