Actually Cruz exposed it when he dared Trump to finally shut up and sue him, and he warned that he would personally depose Trump under oath.  All talk of suing Cruz stopped immediately.  Many in the media said that was a bad moment for Cruz, but I think Cruz could have turned it and used it against Trump for the rest of the campaign.  But Trump's image of media-savvy belligerence carried the day over Cruz's attempts to appeal to Constitutional principle.

I hope Cruz gets better media help next time.

There have been dozens [thousands? millions?] of people smarter than us who have said that Trump is an idiot and does not know what he is saying and doing. Trump will never be the nominee!! Those people were all wrong.


Now all those same people are arrogantly and confidently declaring, "Trump will never be President!!"


I defer to results. Trump has many sources of 'information', which is the most valuable commodity a businessman and a politician can possibly have.


My opinion is that Trump knows that Hillary is a sinking ship and will not make it to the election. She could bow-out any day for any one of numerous reasons, some known, others not so well known. Health, E-mails, Money laundering/Selling Influence, inability to get a Security Clearance, and on and on and on and on...and on.


Trump knows that debating Sanders will help Sanders quite a bit. Maybe Trump wants to keep all the Dems eggs in the Hillary basket, knowing that she is already a listing ship with torpedo damage.


Also, in the business world, the fact that Trump says that he will not debate Sanders, has nothing to do with whether or not he will debate Bernie. He could be building hype, or leveraging for more money. Something any businessman would do like he is breathing.
