At least half the states are already settled. Oklahoma is Trump's. Rhode Island is Clinton's. I can't argue that at all.  My point though is that every thread here isn't about who's running for president and who we should or shouldn't vote for; who's a conservative and who's not.  There are numerous threads for those issues.  The owners of this forum have tried to welcome everyone, especially recently from another forum that had turned them out.  All that they have asked is to keep it civil and on topic.  I for one appreciate having a forum that welcomes both sides and isn't constantly moderated.  I hope we can all show them some respect for what they've put together for us.

I certainly agree with your position.  My question on this thread was the GOP.  Are there rogue members in the house that really want this agenda?  If Trump is the presumed leader of the GOP, why hasn't he spoken out on the issue, other than a previous statement to "leave it up to the states".

The anti-Trumpsters would either totally ignore such posts or hijack them and turn them into yet another one of their anti-Trump diatribes. It is too bad this seems to have fallen on deaf ears.  The fact that the amended bill with that tranny language was voted down seems to have been lost in the shuffle, which is rather pathetic given that it was the entire point of the thread in the first place.

Well, I suppose they're correct.  It is anti-discrimination in the sense that it is trying to avoid line-drawing.  The problem is that we sometimes need to "discriminate" and draw lines. If the people involved truly believe this that we should never do so in the case of gender, then they should also support eliminating all gender-distinctions in high school and college athletics.  No "boys" and "girls" teams -- just teams.  There shouldn't be male/female locker rooms, restroom facilities, etc. at all.  Period.
