How would you keep a ping list?  We don't address posts, exactly.  There's no "to," to speak of.

At TBR we use Mentions.

A Mention is made by putting the "at sign" - @ - in front of the screen name, like this: @sitetest

You would enter the ping message and below it, you would list the members in alphabetical order. Don't forget to put your own name on the list.

You could then post a thread asking members if they wanted to be added to the list.

The list might look something like this:

Okay.   That feels a little clunkier, but I guess it'll work.  We now have the inaugural TBR Classical Music Ping List, if that meets with management's approval, of course.
