From Mediaite:
Friendly piece of advice for the Trump campaign: you need to put a muzzle on this twerp and formally disavow him. Rinse. And repeat.

It is one thing for a private citizen to repudiate CNN and wish it off the air. It is another thing altogether for a potential President being encouraged to use the power of the Presidency to censor the press. No matter how vile the particular press organ is.

Bye Bye, 1st Amendment.

Roger Stone is working for Trump behind the scenes. He can work his evil trashy tactics and give Trump deniability that some naïve people believe.

It really isn't behind the scenes. Although they claim he stopped directly working for Trump in October, he was still being paid as of Trump's 1Q FEC filing and Trump's current senior adviser, Manfort, is partners with Stone at BKSH & Associates (formerly known as Black, Manafort, Stone and Kelly).

Only comedy is Cruzers looking like Fools since Stone was fired long ago and has no connection to Trump Campaign. But facts do not matter to ya'll.

Then why is Stone still receiving payments from Trump per his FEC filings as well as Stone and Manfort's firm, BKSH & Associates?

You mean, of course, naïve people and Trump's shills.

Stone is such a sleeze, anyone who would voluntarily associate with him is questionable at best.  This is 8 years old, so I don't think it deserves it's own thread, so I'll just post a link here:  http://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2008/06/02/the-dirty-trickster

As I’ve said before, Trump wanting to “open up” liable laws so that if he is elected, so that he can sue the media for publishing anything he finds “untruthful” or in his opinion being “unfair” to him, sets a very dangerous precedent and an erosion and perversion of the 1st A.  And of course not to mention that Trump’s version of the “truth” varies from moment to moment.

But I also have no doubt that this will not apply to his BFF David Pecker and the National Enquirer - the tabloid that published the unfounded and scurrilous claims about Ted Cruz having affairs and mistresses, or the “stories” about Cruz’s father being involved with the Kennedy assassination which BTW, both “stories” quoted Roger Stone as a “source”.

Trump if elected, will do everything he can to shut down any forms of press from publishing anything negative about him, even if truthful, while using some segments of the press, the ones in his pocket like the National Enquirer to attack and smear with innuendo and unnamed sources in order to silence his opponents.

This guys seems to think that Trump is running to be the next King George- Ruler, Potentate, and Supreme Leader of the Colonies.

Contract terms. AKA Golden parachute.

CNN, Stone averred, “is not an news organization but an advocacy group.”

Reminds me of the Obama Administration's initial attempts to shut out Fox News.

That is, he'll govern like Nixon at best, Mussolini at worst.

No thanks.
