Princeton Professor: ‘There Are Few Superstitious Beliefs As Absurd As’ Transgenderism

In a serious of Sunday tweets, Princeton Professor Robert George criticized President Obama for promoting a belief “as absurd as” transgenderism.

On Friday, the Obama administration sent letters to every public school district in the country, urging them to allow students to use whatever bathroom and locker rooms they prefer. (RELATED: Obama Decrees All Public Schools Must Allow Transgender Bathroom Use)


Breitbart notes that George’s comments mirror a recent statement from the American College of Pediatricians, stating that “human sexuality is an objective binary trait… [and] a person’s belief that he or she is something they are not is, at best, a sign of confused thinking.”

The American College of Pediatricians (ACPeds) is a small, socially conservative association of pediatricians and other healthcare professionals in the United States. The group was founded in 2002 by a group of pediatricians, including Joseph Zanga, a past president of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), as a protest against the AAP's support for adoption by gay couples. The group's membership has been estimated at between 60 and 200 members (in contrast to the AAP's over 60,000 members). ACPeds describes itself as "a national organization of pediatricians and other healthcare professionals dedicated to the health and well-being of children... committed to fulfilling its mission by producing sound policy, based upon the best available research, to assist parents and to influence society in the endeavor of childrearing."

So let's see.  George quotes a pediatric organization with 200 members, whose views are diametrically opposed to the American Academy of Pediatrics, which has 60,000 members.

I respect George's views on morality, but he is dead wrong about transgenderism.  He has no qualifications in medicine or pediatrics or psychiatry.

The American College of Pediatricians is made up of, with all due respect, quacks.

Johns Hopkins Psychiatrist: Transgender is ‘Mental Disorder;' Sex Change ‘Biologically Impossible

McHugh, the former psychiatrist-in-chief for Johns Hopkins Hospital and its current Distinguished Service Professor of Psychiatry, said that transgenderism is a “mental disorder” that merits treatment, that sex change is “biologically impossible,” and that people who promote sexual reassignment surgery are collaborating with and promoting a mental disorder.

There are just two genders and transgender is not one of them. It has always been a mental disorder and will always be one. Nothing has changed except mental disorders are being rationalized by people that are not all there themselves. I can't believe how many people are falling for this completely idiotic liberal fantasy it is not rational.
