Naturally, many of the pro-Trump people are lambasting principled conservatives who refuse to vote for Trump. The standard accusation: not voting for Trump is voting for Hillary. Because if Hillary wins, we are all finished. She will finish the job King Barack started.
Granted, Hillary Clinton will be a very bad president. Worse than King Barack? Probably not, but pretty bad.
So everybody should get on board the Trump Train to prevent the next socialist disaster from taking office, right?
Wrong. As bad as Hillary would be, we will survive. We survived seven plus years of the worst, socialist prez ever. How would we not survive someone who is probably less a socialist and more an opportunist like Hillary?
Here are the real reasons it won't make a difference in not supporting Trump.
For one thing, he's not a conservative. I repeat....he's not a conservative. He's an opportunistic wolf in sheeps clothing. He doesn't even pretend to pay any heed to conservative principles. Plus, he's a horrible person totally unfit to assume the office of the president.
And secondly, Obama and Clinton are not independent ruiners of American civilization. Somebody elected them to office. Even if Trump, by some miracle, turned into a decent president, he would be gone in four or eight years. Then we're faced with another socialist Dem.
That is the problem....it's not the people holding the office who are the problem as much as the people who put them into office.
That means changing the national dialogue and the national way of thinking is far more important that one or two lousy, socialist presidents.
Unless we promote conservatism and change the way people think, we'll be faced with countless more Obamas and Clintons down the road.
The political bent of many young Americans has shifted from tepid support of free market capitalism to outright support of socialism. That is the biggest disaster.
We have to elect people who are champions of conservatism....not rank opportunists who sneer at conservative principles and who will do damage to the brand.
