ODESSA (KMID/KPEJ)

An investigation by the DEA caught one Odessa resident by surprise on Thursday and even sparked a video that is now going viral.

Officials with the DEA said they were executing a search warrant at a house on Tripp Avenue.

They then moved to another house in relation to the same investigation, according to officials.

That is when a resident came to the door, awakened and bothered by their visits, according to the resident who wishes to remain anonymous.

"We were rudely awakened, they just started banging on the door," he said, "I just didn't like the way they did it."

The man begins recording with a camera and demands that all agencies leave his property, which they eventually do.

Officials said that they asked to search the man's home, he however declined.

Agents then left the man's home and no arrests were made.

The agency released the following statement regarding the matter:

"On May 5, 2016, agents from the Drug Enforcement Administration executed a federal search warrant on Tripp Avenue. During the course of this same investigation, agents contacted (the resident) who resides at a nearby residence. (The resident) was uncooperative with the agents so they departed the premises without incident."

The Ector County SWAT team assisted the DEA.

Another version here that states one of the agents flipped the home owner off... :nono:
