P. J. O'Rourke Hate-Endorses Hillary Clinton

P.J.'s one of the funniest,  most acid-tongued commentators out there.  He's voting for Hillary,  because the alternative is far worse.   

I’m voting for Hillary," he exclaimed.

O'Rourke said his endorsement of Clinton includes "her lies and all her empty promises."

"It's the second worst thing that can happen to this country. But she’s way behind in second place," he continued. "I mean, she’s wrong about absolutely everything, but she’s wrong within normal parameters.”

Referring to Donald Trump, he remarked, “I mean, this man just can’t be president. They’ve got this button, you know, in the briefcase. He’s going to find it.”

None of these people who are coming out so vocally against Trump will change their minds.  In fact, the #NeverTrump movement will continue to grow, as Trump has made clear he doesn't need us.

Not so sure about that. 

Let's grant that we're truly screwed whether it's Trump or Clinton  who takes the oath of office next January.  The question is: who do we think can do the LEAST damage?

The problem with Clinton is that she has the political wherewithal to cause irreparable damage, especially since it's likely that the Trump candidacy throws both houses of Congress to the Democrats.

Imagine Hillary Clinton naming 3+ justices to the Supreme Court, not to mention whatever mischief she and the Democrat Congress can make -- with the enthusiastic support of her media toadies.

Whereas I can't see Trump getting much done at all -- he'd be opposed by both parties in Congress, until finally they impeach him.

If there's a viable third choice, I'd like to hear about him.
