Obama’s Pentagon Attacks Gowdy About Benghazi… His Response Is BRUTAL! Breaking News

Conservative hero Rep. Trey Gowdy’s (R-SC) House Select Committee on Benghazi is already two years old. Now, President Barack Obama’s Pentagon has attacked Gowdy, while stalling records requests to ensure the American people never learn what really happened during the terrorist attack in Benghazi, Libya, which left four Americans dead.
Gowdy is furious at the secrecy and cover-up, and he just issued a furious letter to Defense Secretary Ash Carter, while accusing the Pentagon chief and one of his top lieutenants with a response that “intentionally mischaracterizes both the nature of the Committee’s investigation and its interaction with the Department of Defense.” He added their response is pathetic:
“It is also riddled with factual inaccuracies, which not only does a disservice to the public but also does a disservice to the women and men who work for the Department of Defense,” Gowdy wrote.
Then, Gowdy didn’t hold back about the Obama administration’s attempt to stall his investigation into the death of American ambassador Chris Stevens and three other patriots:
“Your staff is welcome to waste taxpayer dollars writing partisan, factually deficient letters to our Committee, coordinate the language with House Democrats, and then leak it to the media. That is your prerogative. It will not prevent this Committee from interviewing all witnesses who can help us write the final, definitive accounting of what happened before, during, and after the attacks that killed four Americans in Benghazi and injured others. It will just prolong the investigation. I have been encouraged by too many soldiers, sailors, airmen, and Marines across the country to allow letters from political appointees to stop us.”
Gowdy is also angry at the State Department and CIA for also adding to the very slow pace of documents being released to his committee.
The terrorist attack in Benghazi was an avoidable one, and a massive foreign policy blunder which happened while Hillary Clinton was Secretary of State. The American people deserve answers, which is why Gowdy is sounding the alarm over the Pentagon’s stalling.
