Here’s A Liberal Who Is Outraged Over Something ‘Insensitive’ On A Porn Website

Being a liberal must be a horribly exhausting experience. They carry around so much bottled-up rage and if they can’t find an outlet, they explode. That’s the only logical explanation for the silly things we see that cause liberal outrage on a daily basis. I found one that is fuming mad over something she saw on a porno website. No really, a porn site.

PornHub.com, the Internet’s biggest purveyors of smut, recently came up with some porn-related emojis for a variety of fetishes. The deal is, you text them your favorite porn emoji (big tits, foot fetish, etc…) and they send you a video of that. It’s seems like a lot of extra work to get your fap on, but definitely not the most offensive thing you will find on the site.

Enter Carolina Moreno, an editor at The Huffington Post. She has a big problem with this set-up because the emoji to represent Latina porn is a taco.

Her outrage comes in the form of an article titled: Pornhub Reduces Latinas To A Taco Emoji, Because Stereotypes with a subheading that reads: “#LatinasAreNot tacos — or fetishes, for that matter.”

As if it wasn’t enough that Latinas are consistently fetishized in the porn industry, usually readily available in a separate category for viewers, now they’ve been reduced to being labeled as nothing more than a stereotypical food.

And here are those emojis:

Now here’s the twisted liberal logic outrage:

The porn site certainly got creative with many of their options, except when it came down to “Latinas.” Their categories for “Russian,” “Japanese,” “Indian” and other nationalities were represented by flags while Latinas were simply reduced to a taco.

To be fair, Japan, Russia, and India are all countries with national flags. Is there a country called Latina? What does their flag look like? Is this woman actually dumb enough to not understand that Latina is an ethnicity not a nationality? Apparently so, and I get the impression that she actually is a Latina.

Let’s see if I can explain this to Moreno: A taco is a traditional food from Latino culture, but it is also slang for a woman’s vagina. Has she ever heard the phase “tuna taco?” Back in the dark ages before the Internet, a meme was something printed on a t-shirt you got from Spencer’s Gifts. I remember one that read: “If God didn’t want man to eat bleep, why did he make it look like a taco?”

So the thing here is, taco has a double meaning. It’s a food from a certain culture and it’s slang for a body part. Remember, this is a porno website, so marrying these two ideas into one emoji seems like a natural fit. What would Moreno suggest as a more appropriate Latina porn emoji? A brown woman with big boobs wearing a sombrero?

The biggest thing this uppity liberal is missing is: this is a pornographic website. They are not in the politically correct business; they are in the business of distributing acts of hardcore sex. She has a problem with a taco emoji because it’s degrading to Latinas, but for some reason doesn’t think the fisting, gang-banging, anal action they are doing on camera is degrading? Way to pick your battles lady.

Being upset at something insensitive on a porno site is like listening to rap music and then complaining that some of the language was a little blue. It’s like watching a slasher film and then bitching that there was too much violence and gore. If you expect pornography to be as politically correct as a sensitivity seminar at a liberal arts college, you are setting yourself up for disappointment.
