My own opinion is that this won't help, that it reeks of desperation.  I like Carly, but she has no experience in elective office (like Trump) and that's a negative. 

Of course, I fully expect Trump to go off on her in some insulting way and provide more fodder for Hillary in the fall. It's just what he does.

Or ... this isn't desperation in any way.  It's good strategy. 

This was a.) A way to get Trump's sweep in Blue America last night off the headlines and b.) a look toward California on June 7 and c.) a confident move aimed at the campaign against Clinton after Cruz wins the open convention. 

Carly will fly out of Indianapolis tonight and spend the next eleven days in California.   Fiorina ran for statewide office there in 2010.  She knows everyone in the GOP there and by all accounts they love her. 

I like the move.  Big time.
