Maine Republicans elect Cruz-heavy slate of delegates; LePage rails against Obama

Maine Republicans elected a slate of delegates Saturday that could give an extra boost to U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz if there's a divided national convention this summer.

All 14 at-large delegates elected at the state party convention support the senator from Texas. That means at least 19 of 23 delegates Maine is sending to the national convention in Cleveland are Cruz supporters.

The Maine GOP tried to eliminate controversy at the convention by making the results of last month's presidential caucuses binding with 12 delegates for Cruz, nine for New York businessman Donald Trump and two for Ohio Gov. John Kasich.

Awesome!

Yes indeed.  I believe it's only a matter of time before it becomes inevitable that Trump won't get to 1237.  Cruz will win the nomination at convention.

Will of the voter?  DisgusTED doesn't care.  Maybe he wasn't kidding when he said he wanted to rule the world in that creepy HS video he made.
Guess who got the NYT's endorsement in the GOP primary?

Polls Show GOP Nomination Picture Becoming More Clear After Upcoming GOP Primaries *

* Polls show Trump leading in five primary states for Tuesday-Pennsylvania, Delaware, Connecticut, Rhode Island and Maryland.

Polls show Trump leading in Indiana, and in California, where the lead is massive, as in massive.

Some people remain in deep denial, as in desperation, disappointment, disapproval. But denial, nonetheless.

Winning in any or all of those states does not earn him all the delegates up for grabs and you know that. Getting the required percentage of delegates he needs in those and all the remaining states is a very tough road for him. So you can wave these polls before us all you want, it does not shake our faith that The nominee will not be Trump.

I get it. People "wave these polls" showing Hillary beating Trump, as justification for not giving him the nomination, but when I show polls with him leading decisively, you warn me against "waving these polls."

You sir are in the grips of "magical thinking." Desperation, disappointment, disapproval, denial.

More good news.

It is obvious Trump is out of his league... I see why he is one of the proud few to bankrupt a casino ... by owning it. Scary is considering how sloppy and sophomoric Trumps handling of decades old process .. portends just how badly he would administer a whole country.

Ted will have a big  YOUGE part in writing the rules that govern this years convention.

It is a good thing.

New Jersey taxes passed by Democrats bankrupted all of those casinos.  It became cheaper to operate in Vegas than New Jersey.  Notice though that Trump's casino in Jersey never had to stop paying all of its workers.  The economy there went in to the crap bin.  Christie helped lower them and reign in public unions, which is why he backs Trump and would like people like Trump to invest in the state again.

Meanwhile, has Cruz ever had a private sector job in his life?  Did Kasich before he went to work at Lehman Bros. with zero experience, as a Managing Director making over $1m/year and taking a $500k bonus the year Lehman Bros. declared bankruptcy?
