Original title: "Harris Wofford, former Senator, announces his marriage to a man"
by Alex Hider
April 24, 2016

Harris Wofford, a longtime politician and senator from Pennsylvania, announced in a New York Times article on Sunday that he was marrying a man 20 years after the death of his wife.

Wofford, who is 90, announced that he will marry his longtime partner, 40-year-old Matthew Charlton. Wofford met Charlton on the beach in Ft. Lauderdale in 2001.

(excerpt)

Fuller's note: Yes, this means that the then-75-year old former Senator was ogling a 25-year-old boytoy at the start of this relationhip. While that may not be illegal, it certainly is not seemly.

Charlton likely stands to inherit a boatload when Wofford dies.

This is reminiscent of that young guy that married Martha Raye before she died.

Feel bad for his late wife. Doesn't sound like he was into women.
