A write-in, but not the Canadian Senator from Texas. Darrell Castle/Scott Bradley - Constitution Party. A pro-American RINO I might vote for, but not for any of the real Republicans presented. 17 candidates and none of them are noticeably better than Hillary, how do they do it? It's such a low bar.
Personality. He has the charisma of an eggplant. He had a rough start and couldn't get his feet under him. I suspect his people told him he wasn't getting traction so he dropped out. Hope you are well t_s.
Walker (or Rick Perry) was my original guy LandO but his demonstrated and successful low-key Midwest competence was going to get smothered as Brother Trump's Traveling Salvation Show started sucking all the oxygen out of everywhere at all times.It reminded me of Tim Pawlenty's attempt in 2012. He was a very successful governor in Minnesota who beat the lefties at about every turn but couldn't get traction down in Iowa when Michele Bachmann (who I generally like) decided she was going to be the Minnesota choice by being a screeching, anti- Pawlenty banshee.He demurred, much like Walker. It's too bad, but our elections are becoming freak shows.

We are in agreement on that. Same now - I don't care who you are, if you promote NeverTrump when Trump is the nominee - you are helping Hillary Clinton. NeverHillary is where all of us should be.

These two polls tell me that Trump supporters on this board will vote for the GOP candidate to keep the Clintons out of the WH, while Cruz supporters really don't give a rip about letting the most corrupt First Couple in history back in charge of the keys to the country.Fascinating. No wonder Cruz is so unpopular and continues to crash in the polls. He's getting his ASS KICKED TONIGHT!!

It's time to face reality, folks - Cruz and Trump are likely both losers to Clinton. Cruz is too extreme, Trump is too crazy. Someone other than Cruz or Trump needs to be chosen at the convention. If you say otherwise, you're not NeverHillary, you're enabling her election.

Nope. Not voting for Trump is just not voting for Trump. Nobody's saying they're voting for Hillary.
My goodness, Sanguine, did you see Cruz's numbers in the five primaries yesterday? As John Podhoretz said this morning, "It isn't only that the not-Trump vote is failing to coalesce around Cruz; he's going backwards". Cruz is done if he can't win Indiana, and how can Trump's blowout wins in five states not impact how that race will go? Kasich will leave Cruz alone in Indiana, giving Cruz the one-on-one he wants. But even if Kasich had withdrawn from the primaries yesterday, Cruz still wouldn't have stopped Trump. I am becoming increasingly resigned to the reality that Trump will need to be stopped in November.
To paraphrase Peggy Noonan, the choice this fall will be between a criminal and a crazy person.No American, no conservative, should have to be forced to make that choice.
