Hey, Mensa Boy, actually LOOK at that regional chart and tell me how Trump has a 49% statewide support.

He's only over 50% with the Arnold/Jerry Brown crowd in Sacramento and everywhere else he's under 49%.

Facts don't matter to the cultists.

That wasn't the point, and calling me a name because I know much more about polling than you do doesn't change the fact that you're embarrassing yourself.  :silly:
Guess who got the NYT's endorsement in the GOP primary?

Permit me to ask you a question.

The average of the regional Trump support that was presented in the chart is 42%.   Add it up and divide it at your leisure.

How does he get 49% statewide?
There was only one region (Jerry Brown's haunts) that Trump polled over 50.

This foray stinks, but everything around Trump and his media circus stinks.

HAHAHAHA!!  Dude just stop now.  There are multiple districts in each "region."  They are listed on the chart.

Again, you have no idea how polling works.

Granular enough? Nobody is saying Trump takes 162, or every Congressional district. But he should do very well. That is all that he needs to do.

I know what the data tells me.  It tells me that illegal immigrants and liberals love Trump
AG William Barr: "I'm recused from that matter because one of the law firms that represented Epstein long ago was a firm that I subsequently joined for a period of time."

Alexander Acosta Labor Secretary resigned under pressure concerning his "sweetheart deal" with Jeffrey Epstein.  He was under consideration for AG after Sessions was removed, but was forced to resign instead.

Make up your mind. One day you claim Hispanics and women hate Trump, next they love him. Why the confusion?

The Inland Empire isn't exactly a liberal haven.  Also, this is a poll of GOP voters, and it's Kasich who gets a bump in the most liberal areas, not Trump.

So I'll just assume you don't really know what you're talking about, just like Arne.

I have to laugh at the guy who asked for a more specific breakdown of the CA vote automatically trying to discredit the poll when given the more specific breakdown.

But hey these anti-Trump guys are here for honest debate, right?   :silly:

Denial, disappointment, desperation.

It would be cost prohibitive to do polling down to the individual congress district continually, and the cost of such data does not justify it.

OTOH posting the regional data was a refutation of the remarks about sub-groups, diversity, etc.

Doubling, quadrupling or more, of sample size has minimal effect, on the margin of error.

I am a Californian. I have walked a precinct. I have studied our polls for decades. We elect movie stars and body builders. We have an initiative system, while folks in other states do not, and do not try to get one either.

Voters are simply not cooperating with manipulation, categorization this go around.

No. You don't know what that data tells you. There ARE no illegal immigrants or liberals in this survey (at least not a measurably significant level). These are all GOP voters. Perhaps they may, in many cases, fail your Cruz-ite litmus tests of who is and is not allowed to be a Republican, but they are clearly not from the two groups you cite. I really wish you anti-Trumpr's would argue your case with some deference to reality. Its great to have disagreements, very healthy for a party actually. But when you come at everything from positions based on wishful thinking, fantasy and wild assertions about who your fellow Republicans are you lose coherency...and everything becomes a "same to you and more of it" playground argument.

For example, most of us Trumps DON'T like Cruz...for a whole range of reasons. But the truth is, in the end, of the choice is Hillary and Donald, I'd guess 90% of the members here on the board would hold their nose and vote for him. That's because we are rational people, who understand where the GREATEST threat to this nation's future comes from. You anti-Trump'rs can't even manage that...you have to draw some silly conclusion that Trump and Hillary are equally bad. Its absurd,

if nothing else we KNOW Mr. Trump is a capitalist...heck, he is one of the most prominent capitalists in the world...and we know his options while governing as President, no matter your perception of his inclinations, would be bound by his need for support from his base (the GOP). Hillary, we likewise know, is essentially a Socialist and is going to be bound to HER constituency's desires (as in Dem party...which has shifted wildly to the Left).  These are indisputably true facts...not simple opinions. And yet so many of your fellow Cruz-ites, if they do not win, will do everything in their power to ensure Hillary becomes president (by action or inaction). That alone tells you which group is operating from reason, common sense, and from political wisdom...and which is acting only on emotion and immaturity.

American facts. In California and in Texas about 37% of the population self-identify as "Hispanic."

Most of those are legal native born citizens, like everybody else. The idea any significant number of illegals are contained in registered Republican data sets is beyond ridiculous.

But as a local public service, I will stipulate that Rev. Benny Hinn resides in the Orange County region. I envision him as a Cruz supporter.

It will take one of Rev. Benny's miracles to pull out California for Cruz.

Make up your mind. One day you claim Hispanics and women hate Trump, next they love him. Why the confusion?

You have me confused.  Not me.  I have been posting about how Trump promises the jobs he brings back from China to Hispanics in Laredo.  I have posted on how he employs illegal immigrants.  Illegal immigrants should love him.  Because he is going to give them a free vacation home to visit the family.  Then he is going to open the big door in his wall and expedite them all back in.  Nothing in there for the American worker.

As for women.  I don't know why any would like him.  He only likes the beautiful ones.  The ones that could be in a pageant or on the cover of GQ.  And of how he keeps trying to compare himself to Reagan?  He even insulted Nancy about how she isn't attractive.  I think that Ronald Reagan would not have appreciated Trumps comments about his wife.  Trump is pond scum.

You know who is getting selected in California by the pro immigration liberals in Los Angeles?  Trump.

He is the selection for the Californians that give licenses to illegals.  Allow them to vote.  Give them benefits.  Require College to create special help for illegal aliens guiding them to every subsidy they can find for them.

There is your support for Trump in California.  They select him!

I think you have Trump confused with John "Let 'em In and give them benefits!!" Kasich.

Why would pro-immigration liberals vote for the xenophobic candidate who hates Mexicans?  You anti-Trumps are all over the place in your sliming of Trump and us Trump supporters.
Guess who got the NYT's endorsement in the GOP primary?

I know that it is hard for you to think and understand.  Trump Amnesty policy is a good and bad Mexican policy.  It is called touchback.  It isn't new it was rejected before.  Try harder and you would see that Trump wants to cater to the good illegals.  They like him in Mexifornia.

The person who falsely claimed that illegal immigrants somehow voted for Trump in a closed GOP primary says I have difficulty thinking and understanding the voting demographics of California.  If the illegals voted for anyone, it's the Democrat Kasich who has promised fast track citizenship within his first 100 days of office.

You're really not very good at this at all.   :silly:
