Nope, no twisting going on on my part.  You must have me confused with someone else.

So, someone else with the name "Sanguine" posted rubbish, and you have nothing to do with it?

Well, cowards amuse me, they don't irritate me, so that's a step in the right direction.

That is what the Trumpkins want though, that's what I'm saying. Not that the site ever banned anyone.

Even that long thread with the "Dem plants" started with a guy insuating that he wanted another FR.

All Trump supporters are potential JimRob's IMO. First step is suspicious about "covert dems" or "concern trolls". There was a huge 26 page thread about this a week or back. "lots of dems on this board" or something.

Then came warnings from management about not calling Trump an "orange baboon".

Eventually the zots and viking kitties aren't far behind. Happens every time.

Who gives a rat's behind what you consider acceptable? When you take ownership of this site, let me know. Otherwise, I don't care.

I reply in kind. If I attack, it's because you made it apparent that would be the environment.

You barely read what's posted, you make assumptions, you do much of what you accuse me of doing. Projection?

You are very worthy of contempt. And while you "don't forget attempts to smear", I simply laugh.
This is a little forum, in a little corner of the internet, so small, only a few of us notice it. You really should get over yourself. On second thought, don't. I like the entertainment you provide.

YOU brought this to an unrelated thread, something I have never done.  And you have the unmitigated *GALL* to claim you respond in kind?  Since I have not done the same, you are a baldfaced liar.

Well then, by all means, the GOP should drive off every last one of them. That will strengthen the party.

On balance, yes, I believe it will.

I sense that by November 9, we may have an answer to that question that surprises a lot of folks here, me included!

Nope, Arne.
You've completely missed the mark with that one.

The GOP Congress DOES have "power to stop a lawless Executive and a Senate with 45 Democrats who would block any reform".

They have chosen not to USE the power that they have, in spite of the wishes of the American people who in 2014 gave them one of the biggest Republican victories in decades in the hope that they would use it.

And that's why the coming Republican LOSS in 2016 is also going to go down as one of the greatest in their history.

Perhaps their final loss.

And, now you've twisted what I said to include "coward".  And, no, I don't post rubbish.  Looks like you're projecting.

I don't spend as much time in the "Politics" section for exactly the reason t_s pointed out.

In some ways, I've seen more civility of late over at "that other site", than here.

If some folks don't care for that comment, well, too bad.

If you think Donald Trump is any different than either one of the two parties, you have a world of disappointment coming to you.

Donald Trump did not get to where he is today by being different from his fellow power brokers, and he's not going to change now. Sure, he may talk like he's different, but really, what difference does he have?

If he's the same as they are then why do they loathe him so much? Their dislike of Donald Trump goes much deeper than a belief that he won't beat Hillary. A number of them would actually prefer Hillary over Trump.

It's an existential fear.  Trump actually looks to be capable of destroying the GOP and the conservative movement.

Willful ignorance is tantamount to stupidity.  Trumpists can have it whichever way they want: willfully ignorant or idiots; they're one or the other.
