A 51-year-old man who set himself on fire outside a Department of Veterans Affairs clinic on Saturday died later that night, according to a report.

Charles R. Ingram III of Egg Harbor Township was pronounced dead at the Temple Burn Center in Philadelphia, PressofAtlanticCity.com said.

Ingram, a veteran, was airlifted there at 2 p.m. after emergency workers responded to the facility on New Road in Northfield. The clinic, which is affiliated with the Wilmington (Del.) VA Medical Center system, was closed at the time.

A VA official told PressofAtlanticCity.com that 22 veterans commit suicide each day in the country.

This is sad.

 **nononono*

And on another note, next year will mark year 4 of our sequestration.  Time to cut more funding from the VA.  (unless Congress does something about it)
