Cokie Roberts: Doesn't FBI Have Better Things To Do Than Investigate Hillary?
By Mark Finkelstein | March 30, 2016 | 7:41 AM EDT

MSNBC might have to build a deeper tank . . . so Cokie Roberts can dive into it for Hillary. On today's Morning Joe, Roberts of NPR complained about the resources the FBI is devoting to the investigation of Hillary Clinton's misuse of email.  Carped Cokie: "Don't they have other problems? There's no crime in the country they should be worrying about?"

Roberts' timing could hardly have been worse. Just moments before, Joe Scarborough pointed out that last week it was revealed that 22 of the emails on Hillary's server "were so sensitive that the State Department said releasing them would cause grave danger to the United States national security." Not worth investiging, Cokie? Really?

Note: this is not the first recent occasion that Roberts let her bias show on Morning Joe. Earlier this month, as reported here, an angry Roberts asked Donald Trump whether he was "proud" of promoting schoolkid racism.

JOE SCARBOROUGH: We found out last week I guess that there are 22 e-mails that were so sensitive that the State Department said releasing them would cause grave danger to the United States national security. This is -- seems to only be ramping up.

    . . .

COKIE ROBERTS: You know, what I took out of that story, a big story about the FBI and all of that, was that 147 FBI agents are focused on this? I mean, don't they have other problems that they should be? --

SAM STEIN: They actually downsized that number. It's only 50.

JOE: Now they claim it's closer to 50.

ROBERTS: There's no crime in the country they should be worrying about?

JIM VANDEHEI: As a reporter, to have 50 sources --

MIKA BRZEZINSKI: [In reference to Lewandowski] a reported assault.

    JOE: A reported assault.

Since people like Cokie don't want the FBI investigating muzzies, it seems they would have a lot of free people and this would be good practice. :silly:

It takes a lot of people to stonewall an investigation, Cokie.  With 147 people having to continue their work, the FBI can easily say the investigation is "ongoing."  And so it shall remain until Hitlery is inaugurated and unable to be indicted.
