“One large pie with the severed heads of Infidels, please.” No, actually, it was just the quantity ordered that gave away the hideout of Salah Abdeslam.

“Unusual pizza order delivers police to hideout of Paris terrorist Salah Abdeslam,” NineMSN, March 20, 2016:

An unusual pizza order led police to the safe house of one of the masterminds behind the Paris terror attacks, ending a four-month manhunt.

Salah Abdeslam, 26, who masterminded the logistics behind the November 13 attacks on the French capital that left 130 people dead, was discovered hiding at a friend’s flat.

The home was just metres from the house in which Abdeslam had grown up in Molenbeek, Brussels – an area which has come under increased scrutiny in recent months after it was discovered three of the terrorists in the Paris attacks, including Abdeslam, were raised there.

Police first suspected Abdeslam was in the area after they found his fingerprints on a glass at a nearby property that was raided as part of the manhunt.

Abdeslam’s friend, Abid Aberkan, had been under surveillance since attending the funeral of Abdeslam’s brother, Brahim – a fellow Paris terrorist.

Brahim Abdeslam had blown himself up outside the Stade de France.

March 20, 2016: After a four-month manhunt, Salah Abdeslam was arrested yesterday in the Molenbeek district of Burssels. Professor Joseph Siracusa joined us.

Police were fairly certain that Aberkan was harbouring Abdeslam, but it wasn’t until the pizza order that their confidence was confirmed.

“We were fairly confident he was there but the giveaway was the pizza order,” a police source told The Sun.

Aberkan’s mother ordered six pizzas. With police knowing that only three people lived in the property, they raided it and recovered Abdeslam….
