Rubio, Cruz Split Anti-Trump Vote in FL
« on: March 13, 2016, 12:03:39 pm »
Polls are indicating that Rubio will lose FL. But, will he step down?  Anyone?

Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz split anti-Donald Trump vote in Florida

A Florida Atlantic University public opinion poll released Saturday showed Donald Trump with 44 percent of the vote and Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz with 21 percent each. With the primary just days away, 5 percent of Florida Republicans still hadn't made up their minds.

If the numbers hold through Tuesday's primary, the billionaire businessman and part-time Palm Beach resident would win all of Florida's 99 nominating delegates in the winner-take-all primary.

If Rubio, Florida's junior U.S. senator, fares as poorly in actual votes in his home state as the poll indicates, it would be a devastating blow to his presidential hopes. If Cruz, a senator from Texas, finishes even with Rubio, that could boost his argument that he's the best alternative to Trump.

The FAU poll's 23-point advantage for Trump is larger than the RealClearPolitics average of Florida polls released in the last week. The polling average has Trump 14.7 points ahead of Rubio....

So far voter turnout has been huge in my area.  Even if Rubio loses, he'll stay in to make sure we get to a brokered convention.  I think he's been promised the presidency.

After Friday's Chicago fiasco, the feckless and self serving Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio and John Kasich disqualify themselves further from the office they seek by their comments blaming Trump for the violence, and will lose badly in upcoming primaries

Ahh, Trump, the guy who regaled everyone last night with how he'd have punched out the suckers - but he's not in favor of violence - and who promised to pay the legal fees of a supporter who sucker punched someone else.  That peaceful little eunich?

How typical.  Do as I say, not as I do.

Good grief!  I'll point things out once again ... and it is not my intent to derail this thread in doing so. I find it interesting that you find Trump's comments to punch people in the face as 'qualifying' him as president, yet when Cruz points out Trump's outlandish non-presidential comments, that 'disqualifies' Cruz. Once again:

..."Mr. Cruz declined an opportunity to condemn Mr. Trump for the tenor of his events"...

That was part of the Plan made at Sea Island this past week. The the DONORS, RINOGOPe gave the orders to RUBIO, CRUZ and the Mailman. Like all RINOGOPe plans to take TRUMP out it will help TRUMP and continue to expose CRUZ as the idiot he has become, :silly:

Trump was just on FOXNEWS Sunday, repeating every lie about Trump University that has been proven a lie in numerous sources.

Trump is the biggest liar in American political history, but none of his followers care.

They complain about the phony "establishment" lying to them, but when their boy lies directly to their faces, they suck it all up.

Like Trump said of them earlier:  he could tell them anything he wanted to and they'd still support him.  There is nobody so blind as he who will not see.
