A capital murder suspect who busted out of a jail in Mississippi last week tied up a family at a home in Vicksburg Thursday morning before the homeowner broke loose and killed the intruder, investigators revealed.

Police said the unnamed homeowner shot Rafael McCloud in the head after the suspect stabbed him in the shoulder. The entire encounter lasted roughly three hours and the homeowner is expected to survive, The Clarion-Ledger reports.

McCloud also tied up the man's wife and their child, the newspaper adds. "He was pretty much given the bum's rush by the suspect," Vicksburg Police Chief Walter Armstrong said.

Will our masters charge this homeowner with a crime now?

Armstrong said the husband was stabbed in the shoulder, a non life-threatening injury for which he was hospitalized Thursday. McCloud was shot first by the wife who freed herself, and then by the husband once he was free.

That might be a problem if the Husband decided he didn't look to bad and gave him another shot!

But other reports only say the Husband shot him.  MS has Castle laws.  He should be okay (unless they charge him with a hate crime.  Home Owner is white!  ;) )
