TEHRAN (FNA)- The Russian fighter jets carried out a powerful aerial assault over the terrorist-held town of Abu al-Dhuhour in the Eastern part of Idlib province, striking the militants' large depot of weapons and ammunition.

The Russian warplanes' combat flights ended in destruction of the entire weapons depot of al-Nusra Front and Jund al-Aqsa, while also killing over 25 enemy combatants.

The Russian air fleet also struck several sites of Jeish al-Fatah (Army of Conquest) in the city of Jisr Al-Shughour and the villages of Ariha, Kafr Bateekh, al-Mansoura, and Khan Sheikhoun.

On Monday, the Syrian Army troops' anti-terrorism offensives in the Southern and Southeastern parts of Idlib province inflicted a heavy death toll on the al-Nusra Front's terrorists.

At least 11 Nusra terrorists were killed and several more were wounded in the Syrian army's assaults near the town of Abu al-Dhuhour in the Southeastern territories of the province.

Seven more Nusra fighters were killed in the army attack on their position in the surroundings of the small town of Jarjnaz in the Eastern side of Maarat al-Nu'aman.
