Christie's Approval In NJ Drops After Trump Endorsement
« on: March 02, 2016, 03:15:55 pm »
So... I couldn't help but notice last night that it seemed that Christie was 'lurking' in the background.  He seemed uncomfortable.  I was so, so glad that he didn't announce Christie as his VP last night.  IF we are stuck with Donald as the nominee; it may be less traumatizing if he picks a decent VP.

Christie's Approval in New Jersey Drops After Trump Endorsement

Governor Chris Christie’s endorsement of Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump has cost him some support of voters at home in New Jersey, a poll found.

Twenty-seven percent of registered voters polled after Christie’s Feb. 26 endorsement of Trump said they approved of the Republican governor’s job performance, compared with 33 percent before, according to a poll by Fairleigh Dickinson University’s PublicMind.

Christie stunned some supporters with his surprise endorsement of Trump in Texas, saying the real-estate investor is the candidate most likely to defeat Democrat Hillary Clinton. Christie dropped out of the race Feb. 10 after finishing sixth in the New Hampshire primary.

“Joining forces with Donald Trump was hardly a vehicle for getting voters to reconsider their sour mood toward the Governor,” Krista Jenkins, professor of political science and director of PublicMind, said in a statement.

The poll was conducted Feb. 24-28. The survey of 694 voters in New Jersey has an error margin of plus or minus 3.9 percentage points.

Dishonesty and flexible "principles" can cost a politician, even in New Jersey. It may well hurt Christie's future, but of course, he'll cross that bridge when he comes to it.
"The most terrifying force of death, comes from the hands of Men who wanted to be left Alone. They try, so very hard, to mind their own business and provide for themselves and those they love. They resist every impulse to fight back, knowing the forced and permanent change of life that will come from it. They know, that the moment they fight back, their lives as they have lived them, are over. -Alexander Solzhenitsyn

Christ better sue his Doctor.  He went in for a lap-band surgery but got a frontal lobotomy instead.

Gee, I hope this doesn't hurt his chances of being the Attorney General in Trump's first administration. 88devil

Christie's popularity has been circling the drain in his home state for some time now and for other reasons. It has nothing to do with his endorsement of Donald Trump.

Just another attempt at misleading by a pet troll GOPe acolyte.

Ah...but he could always reinvent himself and run as a DEM.  His buddy Barry would be the first to endorse him!

It doesn't, but it does help you get a fat salary DC job if Trump wins. Since there is little to no talk about limiting the size and scope of govt' from Donny, I can only guess it will stay it's same bloated and burdensome mess. Christie will head up the new Federal agency on Donuts and Gravy.
