Romney can't win a general election, either.  Especially if the GOPe and its shrinking base of minions draft him to run third party.  The entire idea behind that is to put HRC in the WH, anyhow.

I don't know why you're so worried.  You and the rest of the UNIPARTY aren't going to let an outsider like Trump or Cruz take control of the wheel.  If that happens your free milk is over.

At this point, we can't win anyway, so stopping Trump is paramount.  You can't win if the conservatives stay home. Try to win with Moderates and Democrats.

Then neither can any candidate you are backing sink.  Unless Rubio outbids Hillary in giveaways to the Hispanics...then 75% of the Republicans say forget it.  All these votes Trump is collecting right now.  They aren't going to anyone else - especially an establishment politician.  The turnout in November will be in the 40's somewhere (percentage) if the establishment tries to boot Trump.  Too many votes, too many people behind him now.  They needed to try this wild stuff in August.  Too late now.

Sink, the conservatives aren't staying home...they are coming out in droves today to vote for Trump.  And if they are coming out in droves for someone else not Trump, we will find that out and it will all be moot.
