Undocumented man arrested in Lancaster for 9th DUI

LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) – An undocumented Mexican immigrant, who lived in Lancaster, has been charged with his 9th DUI in 10 years, according to the Lancaster County district attorney’s office.
Alfredo W. Lopez, 40, was pulled over Monday night after an officer obeserved him driving erratically on New Danville Pike in Conestoga Township.
Police reported smelling alcohol and seeing empty beer cans inside Lopez’s car.
Lopez, who has been living on Greenridge Drive, also gave police a false name and failed multiple sobriety tests.
Before living in Lancaster, Lopez was charged with 8 DUIs in Arizona between 2006 and 2010.
Lopez is being held without bail at York County Prison. He faces possible deportation.
