Would Newt be worth considering as a V.P. candidate?

no. See my earlier post, and remimd yourself that Newt Gingrich actually became an avatar
of big government conservatism (amazing how that phrase doesn't ring rather like "promiscuous celibates" these days) . . . the
very big government conservatism that helped get us into this mess in the
first place. He'd be the kind of pick that would
only consecrate one of the images of The Donald that those who don't support him hold, the image as an absolute friend
and bed partner of big government.
