God bless Hollywood and the denizens thereof.

"This week 90-year-old showbiz legend Dick Van Dyke jumped into the 2016 election, stumping for an “aspiring, young” candidate.

He was talking about Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders.

It’s been 48 years since Van Dyke used his celebrity status to try and help a presidential candidate — that was back in 1968, when he supported Democrat Eugene McCarthy."
