Just a reminder, the ticket was Romney/Ryan.

Quote
At a town hall event in South Carolina Wednesday, Donald Trump essentially claimed Republicans lost in 2012 because they were too conservative.

Trump sharply criticized Mitt Romney’s selection of Paul Ryan as his running mate, saying Ryan’s support of Social Security and Medicare reform cost republicans the election.

The New York Times reports:

Quote
“That was the end of that campaign, when they chose Ryan,” Mr. Trump said at a town-hall-style setting in Bluffton, S.C., about the Wisconsin congressman who is now the House speaker. “That was the end of the campaign. I said, ‘You gotta be kidding.”

When Mr. Ryan was selected as Mr. Romney’s running mate, Democrats made an issue of Mr. Ryan’s proposal, made months earlier, to cut Medicare.

“The only one that’s not cutting is me,” Mr. Trump said, pointing to the fact that he and Mike Huckabee were the only Republican presidential candidates who did not call for reforming Social Security and Medicare. Mr. Huckabee recently pulled out of the race.

Se we have all the Trumpshevik claiming that the GOP losses were a result of nominating candidates that are too moderate and not sufficiently conservative, following a guy who thinks that Mitt Romney was too conservative into battle.

You can't make this shit up.

Except they are making it up on a daily basis.

So, one has to wonder...

If the guy who thinks that the 2012 ticket was too conservative gets elected, who would he nominate to replace Scalia?

He's preparing for his independent run.   He'll keep his current nihilist supporters, and move left to pick up the cynics from the Move on.org crowd.

It might reveal a great deal were some enterprising reporter to ask him that very question.
