His bigoted and sexist comments won't matter to those voters who are bigoted and sexist. Hence the remarkable thing about his support - it's large, but it doesn't move. It's at about a third and holding. Looks like he's just about tapped out the pool of bigoted, sexist voters.
Look, I'm no friend of The Don (as you likely know from being here for a while), but not everyone who supports him is a bigot or sexist, and I think it is unfair to so accuse them.
Trump's supporters may share other qualities in common, such as righteous anger at the government and a lack of faith in the current party structure to solve our national problems, but they are certainly not defined by the narrow animus of bigotry.
